Best NBA Bets Today (Tuesday, Dec. 30)

Brice Sensabaugh over 2.5 made threes vs. Boston Celtics (-110)

BetRivers, 5:05 PM CT

Alex Barutha: Boston is a good defensive team, but their weakness is allowing threes. Over the past two weeks, they're allowing the most threes as a percentage of opponent attempts (45.2%). That plays into Sensabaugh's favor, who should continue to see increased minutes due to Ace Bailey's absence. Sensabaugh has taken at least four threes in six straight games, hitting 1.8 per game at 33.3 percent.

Paul George over 2.5 made threes (-115) at Memphis Grizzlies

DraftKings, 4:21 PM CT

Nick Whalen: George has worked his way up to a full workload and is coming off of back-to-back four-three-pointer games against the Thunder and Bulls. With Joel Embiid questionable, George could be set for increased offensive responsibility, but either way I see this as another relatively high-volume shooting night for George, who's taken between seven and 10 threes in five of his last six games. Over its last 10 contests, Memphis is allowing the third-most three-point attempts in the NBA, behind only the Pelicans and Wizards.

Jordan Walsh under 6.5 points (-122) at Utah Jazz

DraftKings, 3:30pm ET

Ken Crites: I love Jordan Walsh's defense, but lately he's been losing minutes to rookie Hugo Gonzalez.  Over Walsh's last five games, he's posted 4.4 points and 4.0 rebounds over a meager 16.4 minutes.  In other words, he's been a starter in name only. He also missed a game due to illness.  Gonzalez, on the other hand, has averaged 25.3 minutes over those six contests. Sam Hauser has also been showing signs of life, highlighted by a 23-point night on the 26th.  Frankly, even if Walsh returns to 20 minutes of run, he's not in there for scoring. Coach Mazzulla will go with whoever does the best job of slowing down Lauri Markkanen. Or, if it's a high-scoring affair (the O/U is 242.5), the Celtics might look to Hauser for a bunch of threes.  The K-Train is 9-3 on the season and 59-46 overall — feel free to fade!
