Rest-of-Season Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Wrobleski split last season between Triple-A Oklahoma City and the majors. While he was primarily a starter on the farm, he came out of the bullpen in 22 of his 24 appearances for the Dodgers, often working as a bulk reliever. The right-hander's ERA was slightly better in the minors, but his strikeout and walk rates were superior in the majors. Wrobleski's 66.2 innings fell well short of qualifying, but his 21.1 percent K-BB% would have ranked eighth in MLB, though it's doubtful he would have sustained that level over a full season. Still, it speaks to Wrobleski's potential and the prudent way the Dodgers handle their pitchers. He's likely to fill a similar role this season, with less time (if any) in the minors. Matching last year's peripherals will be a challenge, but when he is starting or serving as the primary pitcher, Wrobleski is as a streaming candidate. Read Past Outlooks
Shines in eighth win
Wrobleski (8-2) allowed three hits and struck out five without walking a batter over six shutout innings to earn the win over the Rays on Tuesday.
Analysis
Wrobleski was efficient in this start, throwing 50 of 67 pitches for strikes in a strong showing of command. Shohei Ohtani's solo shot in the bottom of the sixth inning was all the help he needed, and the Dodgers' bullpen preserved the lead to give Wrobleski his first win in three starts in June. He's allowed four runs over 16.2 innings this month while adding a 10:2 K:BB. The southpaw is at a 2.72 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 50:16 K:BB through 79.1 innings over 13 appearances (12 starts) in a breakout campaign. Wrobleski is projected to make his next start in Minnesota.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
The Dodgers have the deepest starting pitching depth chart in baseball, although six of the 13 starters on the 40-man roster had an injury designation as of mid-December. Wrobleski hasn't pitched well enough in the majors to be guaranteed any starts in 2025, but he's healthy, is a lefty and has a starter's pitch mix. He may yet be traded this offseason and could eventually be moved to the bullpen if he sticks with the Dodgers. However, Wrobleski's 95.1 mph average fastball velocity was almost two ticks higher than the average lefty's fastball, and that's reason enough to be patient in dynasty leagues. He opened the 2024 season with a 3.06 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and an 18.2 K-BB% in 13 starts at Double-A and he upped his strikeout rate from 23 percent at Double-A to 31.8 percent at Triple-A. The Pacific Coast League punished him to the tune of a .441 BABIP and .298 average against, and the balls and strikes challenge system led to his walk rate spiking from 4.8 percent at Double-A to 13.6 percent at Triple-A. Wrobleski is a nice sleeper in deeper redraft and dynasty leagues, but nothing is promised with regards to his 2025 role.
