Jhonny Pereda

30-Year-Old CatcherC
Seattle Mariners AAA
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Pereda will compete for the backup catcher role with the Twins this spring. He's a glove-first catcher but his recent hitting stats haven't been terrible (.658 OPS in 78 PA in the majors last season and .887 OPS in 105 PA at Triple-A). Still, as a 30-year old journeyman he likely won't offer much at the plate as he's hit just 18 home runs over five Triple-A seasons. Read Past Outlooks
