Boston Red Sox AAA
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Seigler spent the majority of the 2025 season with Triple-A Nashville but made his major-league debut with the Brewers in July. He mostly saw work at the hot corner but showed off his versatility by playing first base and even catcher, and he looked to be carving a consistent role for himself at third base before losing playing time to Caleb Durbin. Seigler wrapped up the 2025 season in Triple-A, where he posted an .892 OPS with 23 steals (on 27 attempts), 51 runs, 16 doubles, eight home runs and 39 RBI in 307 minor-league plate appearances. Seigler profiles as a utility player, and his trade to Boston in February doesn't change that. However, he'll likely have a tougher time seeing the majors for the Red Sox, especially with Caleb Durbin and Andruw Monasterio also coming over in the trade and likely being ahead of him on the depth chart. Demoted to Triple-A

June 9, 2026
The Red Sox optioned Seigler to Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, reports Ian Browne of MLB.com.
Analysis
Seigler's stint with the big-league club will be short-lived after he was called up June 3. The 26-year-old recorded just four plate appearances in two games for the Red Sox. Boston will activate Garrett Whitlock (knee) from the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Seigler possesses many qualities that give him a chance to be an elite defensive catcher and above-average offensive option at the position, which is why the Yankees selected him with the No. 23 overall pick in the 2018 draft. It doesn't really matter for our purposes, as Seigler will be developed as a catcher, but as a high schooler in Georgia he gained fame for his ability to throw in the upper-80s with either arm. Unsurprisingly, he is also a switch hitter. His pro debut was abbreviated due to hamstring injuries and a concussion, but he dominated at the plate (158 wRC+) in a short stint in the Gulf Coast League, and while most of his small-sample Appalachian League numbers were not impressive, he had almost twice as many walks (eight) as strikeouts (five) in 12 games. Seigler uses the whole field and is adept at getting the ball in the air. He won't be a big power threat (maybe 15 HR at peak), but could hit for a very high average, relative to most catchers.

Set to be called up to majors
3BMilwaukee Brewers  AAA
June 29, 2025
The Brewers are set to call up Seigler from Triple-A Nashville, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.
Analysis
Seigler signed a minor-league contract with the Brewers in November after spending the first seven years of his major-league career in the Yankees' organization. The 26-year-old has played exclusively in Triple-A this season, where he is slashing .278/.416/.469 with 20 steals, 11 doubles, four triples, seven home runs and 35 RBI in 262 plate appearances. Seigler has the versatility to play second and third base, but he also served behind home plate in 24 games this season. An official promotion to the big club will likely be announced prior to the Brewers' series opener against the Mets on Tuesday.
