Seigler spent the majority of the 2025 season with Triple-A Nashville but made his major-league debut with the Brewers in July. He mostly saw work at the hot corner but showed off his versatility by playing first base and even catcher, and he looked to be carving a consistent role for himself at third base before losing playing time to Caleb Durbin. Seigler wrapped up the 2025 season in Triple-A, where he posted an .892 OPS with 23 steals (on 27 attempts), 51 runs, 16 doubles, eight home runs and 39 RBI in 307 minor-league plate appearances. Seigler profiles as a utility player, and his trade to Boston in February doesn't change that. However, he'll likely have a tougher time seeing the majors for the Red Sox, especially with Caleb Durbin and Andruw Monasterio also coming over in the trade and likely being ahead of him on the depth chart.
