Rest-of-Season Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
In 2024, Bohm spent most of his time as the Phillies' cleanup hitter, helping him reach 97 RBI for the second consecutive season and elevating an otherwise bland fantasy profile. In 2025, Bohm bounced around the lineup, hitting as low as eighth on 23 occasions, and missed time with rib and shoulder injuries. The result? Just 59 RBI and generally underwhelming fantasy production. While Bohm makes consistent contact (16.3 K% last year, his fourth straight season under 18%) and posts above-average hard-hit rates, he struggles to lift the ball, limiting him to just 11 homers last year and a modest career high of 20 back in 2023. Frequent, hard contact on the ground does lead to a reliably high batting average (Bohm's hasn't dipped below .274 since 2021), but a lack of power from a player with a below-average glove at a corner position means Bohm could be at risk of losing at-bats soon, especially with infield prospect Aidan Miller knocking on the door. Goes yard as cleanup hitter
Bohm went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk during Thursday's 5-3 win over the Rangers.
Analysis
Bohm's fantasy value appears to be on the rise right off the bat, as he hit fourth in Philadelphia's Opening Day lineup over other candidates such as Adolis Garcia and J.T. Realmuto. On top of that, Bohm is coming off a torrid spring that saw him bat .310 with three homers, two doubles and 10 RBI across 42 Grapefruit League at-bats to perhaps seize the cleanup role.

Bohm's 2024 stats were a nice representation of the league as a whole. Bohm made more hard contact, had a higher barrel rate and a higher average exit velocity than he did in 2023, yet he hit five fewer homers on the season despite a nearly identical amount of plate appearances. That playing time consistency is one of Bohm's endearing qualities, as he is just one of seven third basemen with 600-plus plate appearances in each of the past three seasons. Bohm was also granted the honor of hitting cleanup in Philadelphia for most of the season, which allowed him to match his 2023 RBI total despite having fewer homers. The homer decline was offset by a career-best 44 doubles. Bohm's groundball rate puts a soft cap on his home run upside. He has shown a bit more loft in recent seasons, and Bohm setting a new career-high in pull rate in 2024 may be a sign he's going to join the elevate-and-celebrate mindset, which proliferates baseball these days. A hand issue, which led to an IL stint in early September was certainly a second-half factor in (.681 OPS) compared to his first half (.830 OPS.)

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Possibility for Pittsburgh?
According to Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Bohm could be a trade target for the Pirates.
Analysis
Bohm could soon be expendable if the Phillies end up signing Bo Bichette, and the Pirates would significantly improve the left side of their infield by trading for him. The third baseman will make $10.2 million during his final year of arbitration eligibility in 2026 and posted a .287/.331/.409 slash line with 11 homers in 120 regular-season games last year.
