Jake Meyers News: Sitting again amid struggles
Meyers is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.
Houston will send Meyers to the bench for the second day in a row and for the third time in four games. Since coming off the injured list May 19, Meyers has slashed a dismal .188/.233/.294 with a 22.2 percent strikeout rate, and his lack of production appears to have resulted in him fading into more of a part-time role. Brice Matthews will pick up another start in center field at Meyers' expense.
