Kubo, similar to most on Sociedad, had a mostly disappointing 2024/25 campaign with five goals and no assists, down from seven goals and four assists the prior season. He saw the pitch plenty and didn't battle injury, but the production wasn't there in league play. At 24 years old, there's no reason to believe he'll have a repeat in the new season. Sociedad will have a new manager and some new faces on the pitch, but Kubo has shown many seasons that in case produce 10-plus goal involvements in 2,000-plus minutes.
Back after two-month absence
Kubo (hamstring) completed his first full unrestricted training session Monday and is set to come off the bench for Saturday's clash against Levante, according to Benat Barreto of El Diario Vasco.
