Signs long-term deal with Augsburg
Suso has joined Augsburg from Fortuna Dusseldorf on a long-term contract running through June 2031, per the club's statement.
ANALYSIS
Suso is a versatile, left-footed 21-year-old who can play in defensive midfield, as a number eight, at left center-back, or in either a defensive or attacking left-flank role. He made 24 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga last season for Dusseldorf, scoring once, and was partly developed in Bayer Leverkusen's academy before earning four caps for Germany's U20 side.
