Arriola had yet another disappointing season during 2024 despite featuring in 31 matches, compiling five goals and two assists, a far cry from the 10 goals and five assists compiled in 2022. However, a change of scenery may help rejuvenate his career, as he is joining former Dallas teammate Jesus Ferreira in Seattle. He should see a spot in the starting XI with his new team immediately, likely replacing the spot Leo Chu once held after his move to Dallas in the Ferriera trade.
