Ferreira's output took a massive hit in 2024 due to several injury issues that limited him to just 14 starts. He recorded 1,323 minutes played, his lowest since 2020, totaling 22 appearances en route to just five goals and three assists. At just 24 years old for the 2025 season, he's still early in his career, so the hope is that he can find health and form again, leading to another double-digit goal campaign, something he did in both 2022 and 2023. A change of scenery should help him complete a solid comeback season, as being traded to a provenly-stronger side in Seattle should lead to more goal contributions opportunities, especially seeing they were in need of a little more offensive production.
