2025 Fantasy Outlook
Combining Murillo with Nikola Milenkovic, Nottingham Forest's central defense was a key part to their 2024/25 season. Murillo steadily improved in his second Premier League season and started all but two matches, playing through numerous minor ailments. He reached almost seven clearances per game to go with 11 clean sheets. He's less of a threat on sets than Milenkovic, which means he's unlikely to improve much on his two goals and zero assists, though there's no reason all of his numbers can't look fairly similar in the 2025/26 campaign.
Out with muscle injury
Murillo won't be an option for Friday's game against Sunderland due to a muscular problem, according to manager Vitor Pereira. "He is out," Pereira said. "We will see. It is a muscle injury. I'm not a doctor, I cannot predict, but he will be out tomorrow. I think it will be more than one game."
ANALYSIS
Murillo suffered the injury this past weekend against Burnley, and based on Pereira's words, it wouldn't be surprising if the Brazilian center-back also missed the first leg of the UEFA Europa League semifinals against Aston Villa on Thursday, April 30. With Murillo sidelined, Jair Cunha and Morato could be in line for more minutes at center-back alongside Nikola Milenkovic.

Reds set to submit offer?
Liverpool are expected to submit a $80 million to sign Murillo, according to TEAMTalk.
ANALYSIS
Murillo is a strong candidate to leave Nottingham Forest due to his impressive performances throughout the 2025/26 season. Liverpool are expected to target a center-back in the summer, especially if Ibrahima Konate departs the club, and Murillo seems to be high in the team's shortlist. It remains to be seen if an $80 million would be enough to land the Brazilian, though.
