2025 Fantasy Outlook
Wood notched a career campaign at the age of 33 in the 2024/25 season, leading Nottingham Forest to European football and a seventh-place finish. The forward reached a career-high 20 goals, with 17 of them coming in the first 24 matches. His three assists also matched a career high, seeing much more involvement in the fast-paced counterattacking system they have in place. The question is if this will be a one-off, as his form and Forest's form as a team dropped the final few months of the season. He's reached double-digit goals in the Premier League on six occasions and has proved he can score when given the opportunity, but reaching 20 goals in 2025/26 seems like a longshot.
Scores in smaller role

Wood scored one goal to go with two shots (two on goal) in Friday's 5-0 victory against Sunderland.
ANALYSIS
Wood took only two shots during Friday's win, but that was all he needed as he got in on the goalscoring fun. The match was never close and Wood was more than good enough to put Sunderland to the sword. This is just his third goal of the season as injuries and form have limited Wood.
