Jules Kounde

Kounde logged 32 appearances in La Liga during the 2024/25 season, scoring two goals and adding three assists. He offered defensive reliability and supported the attack from the right-back spot he grew comfortable in, setting a career high in goal contributions. His consistency and fitness made him one of the most used players in the squad with over 2,600 league minutes, to the point where coach Hansi Flick had to force him to rest. Even then, he suffered a hamstring injury late in the campaign. Heading into 2025/26, Kounde remains vital to Barcelona's defensive setup and that was evident when he missed time. When healthy, he'll be a cornerstone in both La Liga and European competition, with the aim to be even more impactful at both ends of the pitch.
