Paintsil delivered a strong inaugural MLS season with the LA Galaxy. The Ghanaian international joined the club in February from KFC Genk, producing 14 goals and eight assists from 34 appearances (playoffs included). He should remain a regular starter in 2025, leading attacks down the left flank and continuing LA's successful scoring cohort with Dejan Joveljic and Gabriel Pec. His role will be particularly important in 2025, as Riqui Puig will be out for most of the season with a torn ACL.
