Joao Klauss

Klauss took a major step back in 2024 as he finished his second season in MLS. The forward saw an increase in playing time, starting 23 of his 27 appearances, nine more starts and eight more appearances than in 2023. However, his production was much lower, as he only produced five goals on 78 shots and two assists on 35 chances created. The major emphasis here is his struggle to find the back of the net despite seeing numerous opportunities, averaging a goal every 4.8 shots in 2023 rather than a goal every 15 shots in 2024. That said, he still did see chances and has enough upside to be a decent option, especially if he can find his finishing boots.
