Dani Parejo

Parejo was a crafty playmaker out of central midfield in Villarreal's 4-4-2 system and regularly featured alongside Santi Comesana, tallying three goals and three assists out of 36 appearances (26 starts). Parejo did more than just provide a spark in the final third, however, and his ability to rack up stats across the board proved to be valuable for fantasy purposes, recording 23 chances created, 37 crosses, 35 corners, 52 tackles, 24 interceptions and 36 clearances. That ability to make a two-way impact gives Parejo a solid floor in his deeper role. However, he's lost set pieces in recent seasons and that limits his upside a bit compare to his peak campaigns.
