Caoimhin Kelleher
27-Year-Old
Brentford
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Kelleher had been the long-term backup for Liverpool, starting 10 games each of the last two seasons. He now gets the chance to be an unquestioned starter after making the switch to Brentford to replace Mark Flekken. Kelleher has shown plenty of potential as a backup, keeping four clean sheets and only conceding 12 goals in 10 matches last season. Brentford don't have the most rigid defense, conceding 57 goals last season, which means Kelleher could be busy for the Bees. Last season, Flekken made a ridiculous 153 saves to go with seven clean sheets. It's unclear how he will handle the heavy shot volume, but Kelleher has been one of the better backups in the Premier League and is at the very least an intriguing option as a starter.
Four saves in clean sheet
Kelleher had four saves and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 3-0 victory over West Ham United.
ANALYSIS
Kelleher delivered a strong performance with four saves and was aided by fortune in securing the clean sheet, with two efforts hitting the post and another ruled out. The goalkeeper has now recorded back-to-back home clean sheets and his third in the last five matches. During that run, he has made at least three saves in four of those games. He will next face a tough away test against Manchester City on Saturday.
