Martin Dubravka News: Signs for Tottenham Hotspur
Dubravka has joined Tottenham Hotspur, the club announced.
Dubravka has signed for Tottenham Hotspur on a contract starting July 1, following the expiration of his deal with Burnley. The Slovakia international goalkeeper joins on a free transfer after a Premier League career that began at Newcastle United in January 2018, where he made 88 consecutive league appearances and was later named the club's Player of the Year for 2019/20 after recording the most saves in the division that season. He also won the Carabao Cup with Manchester United during a loan spell in 2022/23 and lifted the trophy again with Newcastle in 2025, keeping clean sheets in both legs of the semi-final win over Arsenal. After leaving Newcastle in August 2025, he spent one season at Burnley, starting 35 of their 38 league games and picking up a second career Save of the Month award for a stop against Wolves in October. Capped 60 times by Slovakia, he has appeared at two European Championships, in 2020 and 2024, and now arrives at Tottenham as competition and experienced backup in Roberto De Zerbi's squad.
