Aiden O'Neill News: Sends five crosses in WC exit
O'Neill had one shot (zero on goal), five crosses (two accurate) and one corner in Friday's 1-1 (5-3) penalty shootout defeat to Egypt.
O'Neill constantly sent crosses into the box, but he wasn't particularly accurate. The central midfielder started and went the full 90 in every game for the Socceroos, tallying five chances created, two shots off target, 10 crosses, six tackles and eight clearances. He should remain a key starter in New York City's midfield in the second half of the 2026 MLS season.
