2026 Fantasy Outlook
By many measures Wallace's 2025 season will be considered his best campaign to this point in his Cup Series career. The one victory (Indianapolis) and 14 Top-10 finishes placed him 11th in the final driver standings of last season. They were career-best marks for the driver of the No. 23 Toyota. Wallace would suffer some inconsistency throughout the season still and that would lead to an inflated 18.5 average finish. However, he'd make his second-career appearance in the Cup Series playoffs and have a nice all-around season. His 378 laps led would also be a top mark for his eight-season Cup Series career. Wallace will look to build on these accomplishments in the upcoming season with crew chief, Charles Denike. The veteran driver inked a multi-year contract with 23XI in 2024 so he's set here for the foreseeable future. Read Past Outlooks
Sixth in eero 400
Wallace placed sixth in the eero 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Wallace led 35 laps on Sunday, with 34 of those coming consecutively around the midpoint of the race. Unfortunately for the 23XI team, Wallace's car dealt with some handling issues over the latter half of the race, but he still managed to hold on for a sixth-place finish. Wallace now has three finishes of sixth or better over the past five races and sits 13th in the overall point standings heading into Atlanta, where he led 46 laps earlier this season before finishing eighth.

Wallace returns for season four with 23XI Racing and piloting the No. 23 Toyota. Last season marked his first entrance into the Chase for the Cup playoffs. Despite being winless for 2023, Wallace would earn his way into the 16-driver field on the basis of points. The 30-year-old driver would advance into the second round of the Chase before being eliminated. Wallace would nab 10 Top-10 finishes for the season, gather a career-best 15.9 average finish and wind up a respectable 10th-place in the series points. The entire team including crew chief, Bootie Barker, are returning for 2024. Wallace would like to get back into the win column again in the upcoming season and perhaps push his Top 10 totals a bit higher. Those would seem to be attainable goals considering he raced so well last season on short tracks and intermediate ovals.
