2026 Fantasy Outlook
The next driver of focus in Gibbs' driver development program is Crews. The youngster will race most of the full season in the team's No. 19 Toyota. He cannot begin the year due to age (17) but will be able to take the wheel of the team's car after March 30. Crews has won many times in the lower divisions of NASCAR and made a good impression in a 10-start slate in the Craftsman Truck Series last season (three Top 10's). He's a raw talent without a lot of upper division development to this point, but Crews will get a crash course in 2026. He'll be paired with Seth Chavka as crew chief and will race for Rookie of the Year honors. Joe Gibbs Racing equipment will make him competitive right out of the gate, but his inexperience will show at times during this long season to come. Read Past Outlooks
Career-Best Finish
Crews finished third in the Suburban Propane 300 O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway Speedway on Saturday night.
ANALYSIS
The young driver of the No. 19 Toyota started 17th on the grid. Crews would patiently work his way through the field to earn better track position. He would crack the Top 5 by the end of stage 2 and race among the leaders down the stretch. Crews would grab the lead briefly after the final restart of the night but would lose the lead to a surging Connor Zilisch. He would eventually slip to third-place but it was a strong performance and his career-best finish in this division of NASCAR.

2025 Fantasy Outlook
This team was a multi-driver effort in 2024 although they did grab some impressive results. The rotation picked up one pole position and five Top 10's throughout last season. Brett Moffitt and Sawalich would get most of the time in the driver's seat with 12 of the 23 starts. The driver lineup may be even more diverse in 2025 and Sawalich only confirmed for five starts this time around. Youngster Crews appears lined up for nine starts, so he'll shoulder a good deal of the load. The young driver has had some good impact in the ARCA Menards Series thus far and is looking to get a foothold in the truck series in the upcoming season. It could be a year of mixed results, ups-and-downs for this race team.
