2026 Fantasy Outlook
Alfredo makes the move from Young's Motorsports to Viking and their new second team in 2026. This is a great development for the journeyman driver as it appeared that his career had stalled out at Young's last season. Alfredo collected just one Top-10 and six Top-15 finishes in that No. 42 Chevrolet in 2025. A considerable step back from recent campaigns. Viking's newness makes them a bit of an unknown but we like the hustle in team and personnel assembly we're seeing out of the organization in just their second season. Josh Graham will serve as Alfredo's crew chief and the two will be reunited from their 2024 season together in which they grabbed seven Top 10's at Our Motorsports. Alfredo and this race team have the potential to climb these rankings and break into the Top 20 this season. Read Past Outlooks
Daytona 500 Attempt
Beard Motorsports will be among the open cars attempting to qualify for the 68th running of the Daytona 500 next month with its No. 62 Chevrolet. Alfredo will be the driver with DUDE Wipes as the primary sponsor, Motorsport reports.
ANALYSIS
Alfredo and Beard Motorsports failed in their attempt to make the Great American Race last season. They're back for another go in 2026. Although this is an open team, they typically make the field for the Daytona 500. They did so in 2024 and Alfredo piloted the team's Chevrolet to a 27th-place finish. They'll look to make the field in February and hopefully collect a better finish than their last effort.
