Destroys Muslim Salikhov
WelterweightUFC
November 8, 2025
Medic defeated Muslim Salikhov via TKO (punches) at 1:03 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Medic is about the least technical fighter in the company, but the power is entirely legitimate, and he's willing to get in there and mix things up. That gives him a fighting chance every single time he steps inside the Octagon. All it took this evening was a straight left up the middle which flattened Salikhov and led to the sequence of events which ended the fight. It's hard to get excited about Medic moving forward, but he's plenty of fun to watch.
Quick turnaround against Salikhov
WelterweightUFC
October 16, 2025
Medic will take on Muslim Salikhov in a welterweight matchup at UFC Vegas 111 on Nov. 8, Mike Bohn of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Medic has alternated wins and losses in his last five fiights, but came out on the right side his last time out, defeating Gilbert Urbina via first-round KO in August. Given he logged just over a minute of cage time there, he'll be ready for a quick turnaround against Salikhov -- a winner of three in a row, including back-to-back first-round finishes that resulted in post-fight bonuses. Medic statistically has the stand-up advantage in terms of volume, as well as slight height and reach edges, but Salikhov is the superior grappler and has accumulated a slightly better resume to date.
Showcases power once again
WelterweightUFC
August 10, 2025
Medic defeated Gilbert Urbina via KO (punch) at 1:03 of Round 1 at UFC Vegas 109 on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Medic was actually stunned by an Urbina right hand early that was credited as a knockdown, but he got his wits back quickly and showcased his own fight-ending power. A left hand, a knee and another left hand were all it took to put Urbina out cold (though he worked in an extra hammerfist before referee Mark Smith was able to jump in). Medic is the definition of a kill-or-be-killed fighter. All eight of his UFC bout, as well has his Contender Series matchup, have ended in a stoppage, with six going his way and three not. This win allowed him to bounce back from a January defeat to Punahele Soriano, though Medic was surprisingly passed over for an official bonus on the evening.
Facing Urbina in Vegas
WelterweightUFC
July 28, 2025
Medic will take on Gilbert Urbina in a welterweight bout at UFC Vegas 109 on August 9, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Medic will be looking for a bounce-back win after dropping his last bout in the promotion to fall to 4-3, losing to Punahele Soriano in January. He was initially slated to face Khaos Williams in June, but that fight was cancelled. Now, he'll get another chance at a fifth win in the UFC against a fighter in Urbina who is less experienced with just three UFC fights under his belt.
Out of Williams fight
WelterweightUFC
May 29, 2025
Medic has withdrawn from his recently scheduled bout against Khaos Williams, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Medic cited health concerns as his reason for dropping out of the fight. The 6-foot-1 Serbian was recently coming off a loss against Punahele Soriano. Williams will reportedly stay on the card for UFC 316 and will face a replacement.
