Stopped in return from long layoff
LightweightUFC
April 4, 2026
Vannata lost to Darrius Flowers via TKO (strikes) at 0:52 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
That will almost certainly do it for Vannata, who hadn't fought in roughly three years. He returned here as a -250 favorite against an opponent in Flowers that entered with an 0-3 career mark with the UFC and was still barely able to survive a round. The first frame was quite even, at which point Flowers was able to plant Lando with a huge slam which appeared to dislocate a rib. Vannata survived the frame, but another takedown early in Round 2 led to Flowers earning the stoppage almost immediately. Lando has zero wins dating back to May 2021 and one win dating back to February 2020.
