2026 Fantasy Outlook
It's hard to believe it took 164 starts for Fleetwood to win on the PGA Tour, but he certainly picked a pretty good week to do it. After coming so close at the first two legs of the FedExCup Playoffs, Fleetwood would not be denied at the TOUR Championship. He turned in the best putting week of his career to win the 2025 FedExCup. That has to be such a huge weight off the Englishman's back and could potentially open the floodgates to many more wins over the coming years, and maybe even a major championship. Fleetwood also cleaned up in the fall on the DP World Tour winning in India, finishing runner-up in Abu Dhabi and closing it out T3 in Dubai. Fleetwood will turn 35 in 2026, and given the makeup of his game, it's hard to see him falling off anytime soon. Another $18 million season is probably asking a lot, but he has to be one of the top fantasy picks in any format next season. Read Past Outlooks
Cracks top-10 at TPC Sawgrass
Fleetwood fired a four-under 68 during the final round of THE PLAYERS Championship to finish tied for eighth with Justin Thomas and Sepp Straka.
ANALYSIS
Fleetwood turned things up a notch during the final round at TPC Sawgrass, going four-under on the back nine that included birdies on the 16th and 18th holes. He was elite in most statistical categories, finishing in the top-10 of the field in SG: Off-the-Tee, SG: Approach, SG: Around-the-Green, driving accuracy and GIR. However, it was Fleetwood's putter that let him down, as he lost 2.74 strokes on the green (65th). That's been an area of weakness this season for the reigning FedExCup champion, which is odd considering that he ranked 20th in SG: Putting in 2025. Nevertheless, Fleetwood has three top-10 finishes through four Tour outings this season, with his T4 at Pebble Beach being his best performance. He is not listed in the field for the Valspar Championship next week.

It seems almost impossible that Fleetwood has still not yet won a PGA Tour event. He's won seven times on the DP World Tour and been in the mix at a number of majors, but has never yet been able to get over the hump on the PGA Tour. It was perhaps fitting that Fleetwood would win the silver medal at the Paris Olympics. The stats were pretty solid across the board in 2024 for Fleetwood gaining strokes in every category and ranking 37th in SG: Total, but that was down from the previous season when he was 14th in SG: Total. Fleetwood is a very consistent player who is always going to be a pretty safe bet in salary cap leagues, but he does lack the upside of some other equally talented players because he just hasn't won. Maybe that changes in 2025.
