2026 Fantasy Outlook
Coming over from the Japan Tour and DP World Tour, Hisatsune has done a good job adapting his game to the states to keep his card for a third season. That's not easy to accomplish for someone that's only 23-years-old, although that's not to say he hasn't had his share of ups-and-downs. Hisatsune had three reults of T6 or better through a two-month stretch in the spring, but he's also trending downward having finished the year with a lone top-25 across his final 14 events. Statisically, he doesn't jump out in any area and has been a poor putter. His age is the main appeal, but Hisatsune will likely have to battle to retain his card on a yearly basis. Read Past Outlooks
Share of 45th at The Genesis
Hisatsune posted a two-under 69 during the final round of The Genesis Invitational to finish tied with Taylor Pendrith for 45th.
ANALYSIS
Hisatsune entered the tournament having finished T2-T10-T8 over his last three PGA Tour outings. He started out strongly with a three-under front nine in the first round before going two-over on the back, and he promptly fell out of top-10 contention after posting back-to-back one-over 72 rounds Friday and Saturday. Hisatsune ranked 13th in the field in SG; Approach-to-Green, T14 in birdies and 23rd in SG: Off-the-Tee, but it was his putter that let him down at The Genesis, as he lost 5.74 strokes on the green. Hisatsune is not in the field for the Cognizant Classic next week and is not currently in the field for the Arnold Palmer Invitational that tees off March 5.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
Hisatsune was unable to carry the momentum from a successful 2023 into 2024, as he managed just one top-10 all year and struggled in four starts on the DP World Tour as well. With driving play being a key factor on Tour, Hisatsune ranked outside the top-125 in both driving distance and accuracy, which certainly isn't a recipe for success. To his credit, he was able to make 17-of-27 cuts with his putting and long-iron play being the strengths of his game. At just 22-years-old, there's plenty of time for Hisatsune to continue to develop all aspects of his game, but his overall play still leaves much to be desired.
