Hisatsune was the Rookie of the Year on the DP World Tour in 2023 after he put together a very impressive season at age 21 that included 16 top-25 finishes and a win at the Cazoo Open de France. Hisatsune was the 10th and final qualifier for a PGA Tour card via Race to Dubai standings. He actually had four starts on the PGA Tour in 2022-23 and finished top-12 in three of them. There is certainly a lot of upside here as Hisatsune ranked 12th in scoring average and eighth in SG: Total on the DPWT. ANALYSIS
The Japanese-born golfer had a bogey-free back nine Sunday, scoring a birdie on hole two and an eagle on hole seven to jump 25 spots and tie for 29th place. Hisatsune ranked in the top 10 this weekend in greens in regulation (73.61 percent) and total eagles (two). The 22-year-old now sits at 99th in the FedExCup Fall Standings, having made the cut in each of his last three events.
