2026 Fantasy Outlook
Coming over from the Japan Tour and DP World Tour, Hisatsune has done a good job adapting his game to the states to keep his card for a third season. That's not easy to accomplish for someone that's only 23-years-old, although that's not to say he hasn't had his share of ups-and-downs. Hisatsune had three reults of T6 or better through a two-month stretch in the spring, but he's also trending downward having finished the year with a lone top-25 across his final 14 events. Statisically, he doesn't jump out in any area and has been a poor putter. His age is the main appeal, but Hisatsune will likely have to battle to retain his card on a yearly basis. Read Past Outlooks
T30 finish in Tampa
Hisatsune closed with an even-par 71 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 30th place at the Valspar Championship.
ANALYSIS
Hisatsune put himself in good positions off the tee, but was just 52nd in SG: Approach and 50th in SG: Putting. That made scoring a challenge and was a reason he was only able to break par in one of the four tournament rounds. Hisatsune should bounce back, as he's had a very good season to this point with four top-15 finishes. He was slated to tee it up at the Houston Open next week, but instead will elect to skip it.

2025
2024
Hisatsune was unable to carry the momentum from a successful 2023 into 2024, as he managed just one top-10 all year and struggled in four starts on the DP World Tour as well. With driving play being a key factor on Tour, Hisatsune ranked outside the top-125 in both driving distance and accuracy, which certainly isn't a recipe for success. To his credit, he was able to make 17-of-27 cuts with his putting and long-iron play being the strengths of his game. At just 22-years-old, there's plenty of time for Hisatsune to continue to develop all aspects of his game, but his overall play still leaves much to be desired.
