Zyon McCollum

McCollum made a noteworthy Year 2 leap in 2023 while seeing action in all 17 games, posting 68 tackles (49 solo), nine defensed passes and two forced fumbles and yielding a paltry 45.2 percent completion rate in primary coverage. The 2022 fifth-round pick saw a 480-snap increase from his rookie campaign. The valuable experience afforded him should serve as an excellent foundation for his projected starting role in 2024, as McCollum is primed to start at right cornerback following the trade of Carlton Davis to the Lions.

McCollum put together a solid rookie season while serving as a rotational cornerback and special-teams gunner in 2022, producing 24 tackles and one pass breakup. The fifth-round pick has blazing 4.33 speed and could certainly see an uptick in last year's 268 defensive snaps while serving as Carlton Davis' primary backup at right cornerback. Moreover, Davis has never played a full season in his five-year career, so a spot start or two could well be in the cards for McCollum.
