2024 Fantasy Outlook
Martin was named a first-team All-Pro at right guard in 2023 for the seventh time in his career despite missing a couple games due to minor injuries. Now 33 years old, Martin's current contract runs through 2025, and it's not clear if he intends to keep playing once it's done. For now though, he remains a foundation piece for a still-strong Dallas offensive line. Read Past Outlooks

Martin (ankle) exited Monday night's 34-10 loss to the Texans and did not return, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
ANALYSIS
Martin was limited in practice leading up to the game due to a shoulder injury, but he still ended up playing. Now, his status will again be worth monitoring as Dallas prepares for a matchup with Washington next Sunday. The seven-time First Team All-Pro has started all 10 of the Cowboys' games this season.

The team-friendly contract Martin signed back in 2018 now looks like an absolute steal for the Cowboys, and the six-time first team All-Pro elected to hold out of training camp in an effort to get a fairer salary. If his absence extends into the regular season, it could deal a big blow to the efficiency of the whole offense.
Martin battled significant injuries for the first time in his career in 2020, missing the final five games after suffering a calf injury in the Thanksgiving Day game. The four-time All-Pro should be 100 percent for Week 1 this season, and his return to form will be key to the Cowboys returning to the playoffs.
Martin will start at right guard for the Cowboys coming off his first Pro Bowl selection
The 16th overall pick in this year's draft, Martin should be a day one starter at right guard as a rookie, but his eventual future might be at right tackle once Doug Free's contract is up.

OGDallas Cowboys
June 5, 2024
Martin, who will turn 34 years old in November, believes 2024 could be his final NFL season, ESPN.com reports. "I don't know when I'll be done, but it's definitely getting closer to the end," Martin said at minicamp Wednesday. "I think it's just a good reminder for myself to stay in the present and take advantage of this year."
ANALYSIS
Martin has had a decorated NFL career, as he's a nine-time Pro Bowler and seven-time first-team All-Pro, though there has been a glaring lack of playoff success during the guard's 10-year stint with the Cowboys. If Dallas finally reaches the NFC Championship Game for the first time since 1995, Martin may decide to go out on a high note and hang up his cleats.
