2023 Fantasy Outlook
Brown was selected 66th overall by the Eagles in the 2023 draft out of the University of Illinois. He isn't expected to start the year atop the team's depth chart at safety, but undrafted second-year player Reed Blankenship likely doesn't have a firm grip on his starting spot.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Should play key role in '25
SPhiladelphia Eagles
July 4, 2025
Brown is a candidate to replace the departed C.J. Gardner-Johnson at safety this season, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports .
ANALYSIS
Kubena notes Brown held a sizable role as a rookie in 2023, a year when the Eagles defense surrendered the third-most passes of 15-plus yards. Brown recorded 45 total tackles, three pass defenses, including one interception, and a forced fumble across 14 regular-season games that year, but he also surrendered an elevated 69.2 percent completion rate in primary coverage. With Gardner-Johnson having departed to the Texans via trade, Kubena notes Brown is a candidate to replace him, although how prepared he is after having logged just 78 defensive snaps a season ago remains to be seen.
