2024 Fantasy Outlook
Holland faced an injury-riddled 2023 season, limited by issues to both knees. Positively, he didn't require surgery in the offseason and since declared himself to be fully healthy heading into the final year of his rookie contract. He proved himself as a productive player immediately, though he flourished under defensive coordinator Vic Fangio's system last year (when healthy) in more of a hybrid role between traditional and box safety. The primary example of this was his ability to create turnovers, highlighted by three forced fumbles and a pick. Fangio has moved on to the same role with the Eagles, so it will be interesting to see how Miami opts to deploy Holland in 2024. Regardless of exactly where he lines up, he'll be a cornerstone of the defense and will be productive from a tackling perspective. Read Past Outlooks
Set to suit up Monday
Holland (knee/hand) is active for Monday's Week 10 matchup against the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Holland had been questionable coming into Monday due to a knee injury that caused him to miss last Sunday's loss to Buffalo. He was able to log a pair of limited practices to end this week, and he'll return to the field for Monday Night Football. Holland's return could be big for a Miami secondary tasked with trying to contain Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, who are both healthy for the Rams.

Holland has emerged as a plus starter since joining the Dolphins as a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, with 95 tackles, seven pass breakups, 1.5 sacks and two interceptions across 17 games. There's a chance he could improve his standing in IDP formats in new DC Vic Fangio's system.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
May head elsewhere in free agency
Holland may be priced out of the Dolphins' plans as a free agent, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The safety is considered by scouts to be a top-five player at his position who can contribute both in coverage and against the run, and Miami hasn't been able to work out a contract extension with him. Holland will cash in as a free agent this offseason as a result, and he could get a deal worth somewhere between the four-year, $68 million contract Xavier McKinney signed with the Packers and the four-year, $84 million deal Antoine Winfield received from the Buccaneers.
