Erik Ezukanma

Ezukanma was limited to two games in 2023 due to a neck injury, and as a rookie the 2022 fourth-round pick only suited up for one regular-season contest as a rookie. The addition of Odell Beckham, who steps into the No. 3 role behind star wideouts Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, could leave less depth opportunities up for grabs, and both Braxton Berrios and River Cracraft figure to rank above Ezukanma, as could rookie Malik Washington. A strong offseason could give Ezukanma a chance to compete for depth snaps, but his path to seeing the field appears difficult.

A 2022 fourth-round pick, Ezukanma finished his rookie season with just one three-yard catch in a single appearance. He finished out the year as a healthy scratch, and could have more difficulty earning playing time in 2023 considering the Dolphins' newly-added depth at wideout.

The Dolphins added Ezukanma to an already-stacked receiving corps in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, which is a likely indication that the team has immediate designs for how he can factor in on offense. That will likely take the form of Ezukanma acting as a role player in his rookie season, though. Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Cedrick Wilson are all clearly ahead of the Texas Tech standout, leaving Ezukanma in competition for a depth role.
