2025 Fantasy Outlook
A 2023 fourth-round pick, Phillips has been a swing cornerback during his first two seasons in Atlanta. He will reprise that role in 2025 with the Falcons returning A.J. Terrell and Mike Hughes on the outside, while Dee Alford again mans the slot. Phillips has played at least 39 defensive snaps 11 times in 27 career appearances, totaling 62 tackles, 10 pass defenses, including one interception, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. Won't play Week 18
Phillips (triceps/illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Phillips was unable to practice all week due to a triceps injury and an illness and will officially end the 2025 campaign on injured reserve. He was placed on IR in mid-October and played only in Week 4 against the Commanders, when he logged one solo tackle while playing nine snaps on special teams. Phillips will turn his attention toward being fully healthy for the 2026 season.

Phillips was selected in the fourth round, 113th overall, during the 2023 NFL Draft. He's joined by 2020 first-rounder Jeff Okudah, 2018 first-rounder Mike Hughes and Tre Flowers as new additions to a CB corps that's led by A.J. Terrell. Phillips isn't the most athletic player, but he has natural instincts and could be a ballhawk for Atlanta's improved secondary. The Utah product had six interceptions during his final collegiate campaign.
