Seibert made both of his two field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point attempts during Sunday's 27-22 win against the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Both of Seibert's field goals were shorter than extra points, so he wasn't tasked with anything too difficult Sunday. With that said, he has now made multiple field goals in seven of his eight games this season, and his 25 made field goals so far in 2024 are more than any other kicker in the league.

Seibert only played in six games with the Lions last season as the third-year pro dealt with a variety of issues including a season-ending hip injury. While Seibert has the draft pedigree (fifth-round pick by the Browns back in 2019) to retain his starting role, the Lions put him in a kicker competition with Riley Patterson this summer. Seibert won, but he'll be on thin ice if he struggles early in the year.
Seibert lost a summer camp battle in Cincinnati to fifth-round pick Evan McPherson. The Bengals could give Seibert a call if the rookie struggles, or else keep him on the practice squad.
A fifth-round pick last year, Seibert was one of three kickers with a better conversion rate on FGs than PATs. He didn't have many long-distance chances, but scouting reports out of Oklahoma suggested leg strength wasn't a problem. Seibert did go nine of 12 from 40-49 yards, and he enters 2020 with good job security on a team that hopes to get more out of its talented offense under a new coaching staff.
The Browns spent a 2019 fifth-round pick on Seibert to compete with Greg Joseph, who converted 17 of 20 field-goal attempts and 25 of 29 extra-point tries last season. The draft capital suggests Seibert has the tiebreaker, but he wasn't selected early enough to be handed a job. His final two preseason games separated him from Joseph, and Seifert was chosen to the team's kicker in 2019. Volume shouldn't be a problem for the victor - Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr. and Nick Chubb should see to that.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could kick again Week 3
KFree Agent
September 20, 2023
Seibert could be in line to kick for the Jets again Week 3 against the Patriots, as Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports that Greg Zuerlein didn't practice Wednesday due to the groin injury that sidelined him in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Seibert was elevated from the practice squad and handled the kicking duties in Zuerlein's stead Week 2. Unless Zuerlein makes a swift recovery over the next few days, Seibert could get another chance to kick in what's expected to be a low-scoring home game against New England on Sunday.
