Sandfort played his first two collegiate seasons at Iowa and had a chance to knock his former school out of the Big Dance here, and while he gave it his best go with six three-pointers, it wasn't enough to prevent the game from getting away from the Huskers. In three NCAA Tournament games, Sandfort has knocked down 16 total three-pointers at a success rate of 57.1 percent. He may be an early favorite to lead the country in three-point shooting provided he returns for his final season of eligibility in 2026-27.
