AJ Johnson News: Assigned to G League
Washington assigned Johnson to the G League's Capital City Go-Go on Friday.
Johnson recovered from an illness early in the week but is getting some practice with the G League team, heading back on assignment despite being recalled Thursday. While he hasn't played since Jan. 16, Johnson could see meaningful action with the Go-Go in upcoming games. Over his previous stints in the G League, he recorded an average of 17.6 points per contest.
