OG Anunoby 2+ steals (-128)
DraftKings, 3:00 PM CT
Kirien Sprecher: Stephon Castle has been fantastic this season, but turnovers have been an issue, averaging 4.1 per game. De'Aaron Fox is also averaging a career high in turnovers (3.2 a night), and Victor Wembanyama was a bit rusty in his return, coughing the ball up five times. I think this game will have a playoff vibe. That means fewer whistles and more freedom defensively for guys like Anunoby, who has multiple steals in three straight appearances and is averaging a career-high 1.9 per game.
Stephon Castle 5+ assists (-241)
DraftKings, 3:10 PM CT
Kirien Sprecher: Castle has failed to record at least five assists only three times this season. One of those instances came against the Thunder during the NBA Cup Semifinals on Saturday. Before that, he'd reached this plateau in every appearance since Oct. 27. I think Saturday's outing was an outlier. The Thunder are historically good defensively, creating weird matchups and looks for opposing playmakers. I'm also not worried about Castle having less usage now that the Spurs are at full strength. Wemby will likely remain on a minutes restriction, and the Knicks don't have a ton of height, which should allow Mitch Johnson to play multiple guards at the same time.
Knicks/Spurs over 233.5 (-110) but under 117.5 (-108) in the first half
DraftKings, 3:15 PM CT
Kirien Sprecher: I know I said I expect this game to have a playoff vibe, which inherently means fewer points scored. However, I also think it will be extremely tight down the stretch, which means tons of timeouts and extra free throws in crunch time. I also believe that both head coaches will use the first half as a litmus test -- these teams have yet to match up this season -- and run their usual stuff before making the necessary adjustments to attack each other's weaknesses in the second half.
Dylan Harper O10.5 PTS (-118)
DraftKings, 3:45 PM CT
Nick Whalen: Harper comes off the bench and typically only sees 20-to-25 minutes, but when he's on the floor, he's an extremely high-usage player, posting a 29% usage rate over his last seven games and hovering around 27% USG for the season. He's taken double-digit field goal attempts in seven straight games while getting to the line 3.4 times per game in that span.
