2026 Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Not much has changed about Jenkins' skills and potential, although the No. 5 overall pick in 2023 is starting to make a habit of missing time. He sprained his ankle early in camp and dealt with multiple setbacks that essentially wiped out his first two months, yet his 84 games still marked a career high. In 2024, it was a hamstring injury that limited the 6-foot-3, 210-pound outfielder to 82 games. Jenkins won't turn 21 until just before spring training and he'll open the year at Triple-A, where he slashed .242/.324/.396 with two homers and four steals in 23 games to close 2025. The hitting savant was exactly as advertised at Double-A last year, slashing .309/.426/.487 with seven home runs, 11 steals, a 14.5 percent walk rate and an 18.7 percent strikeout rate in 52 games. He may perform at a similarly impressive clip in his return to Triple-A, but it's unclear how quickly the Twins will look to get him to the big leagues if he's performing early in 2026. Jenkins is not on the 40-man roster and the Twins have plenty of outfielders, so it's possible he's stashed at Triple-A until late-August so that Minnesota can make a run at a Prospect Promotion Incentive pick in 2027. Heading to Triple-A
The Twins promoted Jenkins from Double-A Wichita to Triple-A St. Paul on Sunday, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
Analysis
Jenkins will make the leap to Triple-A after slashing .309/.426/.487 with seven home runs and 11 stolen bases across 235 plate appearances in 52 games with Wichita. Widely considered one of the Twins' top prospects, Jenkins will look to close out the season on a high note at Triple-A before potentially making a run at a spot on the Twins' Opening Day roster next spring.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
A hamstring injury limited Jenkins to 73 non-rehab games in 2024, primarily at Single-A and High-A with a small taste of Double-A to close the campaign. His strong swing decisions and contact skill were on full display at every stop, logging walk rates over 10 percent and strikeout rates below 16 percent. A powerfully built 6-foot-3, 210-pound athlete, Jenkins isn't yet getting to all of his raw power in games, but he did slug .444 with six homers and 19 doubles. He isn't a burner, but Jenkins stole 14 bases on 17 attempts, and he should steal double-digit bases for the foreseeable future. It's rare to be able to project at least a plus hit tool for a 19-year-old with minimal upper-level experience, but Jenkins is a special hitter. He doesn't have alarming groundball or opposite-field tendencies, so given Jenkins' physical frame, he should tap into more and more power each year. Logging a full year without any lower-body injuries would be huge for Jenkins' development across the board, but especially as a power hitter. He is tracking towards an early-2026 big-league debut.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Name to remember
Jenkins, who is slashing a stellar .372/.413/.581 with three home runs through 92 minor league plate appearances, is regarded as "the best high school bat from this year's draft," writes Jim Bowden of The Athletic.
Analysis
After being selected as the fifth overall pick in the 2023 Draft, Jenkins began his minor league career at rookie ball but has since been promoted to Single-A. The 18-year-old is a 6-foot-3 lefty that likely profiles as a corner outfielder as he ascends to the majors. He's a dynasty name to monitor -- or stash for managers with roster space luxuries.
