2026 Fantasy Outlook
Teodosio, an undrafted 26-year-old with 162 MLB plate appearances under his belt, doesn't have much fantasy utility but his center field defense could buy him playing time for the Angels. He hit .203 with one home run, seven steals and a 31.3 percent strikeout rate in 50 games last season after slashing .330/.385/.511 with one home run and 10 steals in 25 games during a return to Triple-A after playing 114 games there in 2024. His strengths and weaknesses are very clear, and his only strength that applies for fantasy is his speed on the bases. The Angels don't have any other good defensive outfielders with big-league experience, so Teodosio could end up playing much more than he would in almost any other situation. The quality of his contact in the majors has been so poor (25.7 HardHit%, 4.0 Barrel%) that there's little reason to expect him not to tank your batting average and non-speed counting stats when he's in your lineup. Prospect Nelson Rada could be Teodosio's top challenger for center field reps this summer, and Teodosio bats right-handed, so he could play every day for significant stretches in 2026. Read Past Outlooks
RBI in win
Teodosio went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Monday's 6-2 win against Atlanta.
Analysis
Teodosio earned his first hit and RBI of the season in the fourth inning with an infield single off Chris Sale. The 26-year-old made the team as a defensive specialist in the outfield and as a result has made eight appearances thus far, but he's started only twice in the young campaign. Last year, Teodosio batted only .203 in 50 games while mostly producing soft contact to go along with a 31.3 percent strikeout rate, but he stole seven bases when he got on base.
