Leo Rivas Injury: Hits shelf at Triple-A

Triple-A Tacoma placed Rivas on the 7-day injured list Wednesday due to an unspecified injury.

Since being demoted to Triple-A on May 18, Rivas slashed .154/.436/.154 over eight games with Tacoma before hitting the shelf. Once Rivas gets healthy, he could get another look with Seattle as a utility infielder later this summer.
