J.C. Escarra News: Back in majors

The Yankees recalled Escarra from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.
Escarra was just sent down this past weekend, but he's back with the big club to take the roster spot vacated by Ali Sanchez (paternity). The 31-year-old Escarra will serve as the backup catcher behind Austin Wells while Sanchez is away for the next couple days.
