Signs three-year deal with Angers
Simbakoli has returned to Angers SCO on a three-year contract, the club announced.
ANALYSIS
Usman was born on 12 December 2001 in Bangui and grew up in the Paris region, in Combs-la-Ville. As a child he played a lot of futsal before joining Melun FC. In 2016 he moved to the Anjou region and played for Club de la Vaillante, continuing his development there before joining the Angers SCO academy in 2018. .At just 17 he featured for the U19 side. In his second season at the club, his prolific scoring (16 goals in 13 matches) played a major role in the U19 National title and the club's historic Youth League qualification.In July 2020 he signed for LOSC and joined the Pro2 squad. Six months later, in January 2021, he was loaned to Stade Lavallois. In summer 2022 he moved to Switzerland, joining Etoile Carouge FC. He spent two seasons there, playing 52 matches and scoring 30 goals. In July 2024 he joined Servette FC, making 15 appearances, before returning to Etoile Carouge FC on a six month loan. At the end of the 2024/25 season he left Switzerland to take on a new challenge in a new league, signing for RWDM Brussels of the Belgian second division. He enjoyed an excellent season there, playing 29 matches with 15 goals and two assists. On the back of that successful campaign in Belgium, Usman now returns to Angers SCO.
