Ugurcan Cakir
30-Year-Old
Galatasaray
Super Lig
Beaten early in defeat
Cakir recorded one save and allowed one goal in Friday's 1-0 loss against Paraguay.
ANALYSIS
Cakir's night started in the worst possible way as Matias Galarza's long range effort beat him in just the second minute. After that however it was a quiet evening as Paraguay showed little ambition going forward and a handful of counter attacks produced just one save from him. Across two games in the tournament he has now conceded three goals and made three saves. Up next is the final game against the United States, and with Turkey eliminated, it remains to be seen whether coach Vincenzo Montella will give opportunities to players who haven't had much playing time, or aim to finish in the best way possible, with Altay Bayindir as possible replacement.
