Espinosa completed a one-year loan move to Club America from Uruguayan side Racing Montevideo in the final days of the winter transfer window, the club announced Tuesday.

ANALYSIS
Espinosa will give his new team a second left-back option in addition to the current undisputed starter Cristian Borja. The 21-year-old was rather active in the Uruguayan league in 2025, taking part in 27 games and averaging 5.8 balls recovered and 1.2 clearances per contest. On the offensive end, he achieved three goals and one assist over that period.
