2025 Fantasy Outlook
Vargas became an immediate starter after joining Sevilla last summer. However, multiple injuries derailed the season and he only managed nine starts in league play. He returned from a hamstring injury in July, so the thought is that he'll be completely past that injury when the season starts. With set pieces and a willingness to shoot, Vargas should be in for a much better second season with Sevilla as long as he stays healthy. It's realistic to assume at least 10 goal contributions, if not more, if things go better for him in Spain.
Dealing with minor injury
Vargas (undisclosed) missed Saturday's 1-1 draw against Australia after picking up a minor injury on Wednesday and training separately from the group on Friday, though coach Murat Yakin confirmed he will be fully available to train with the squad from this week, according to RTS. "All the players are healthy, which is very important. Next week, we will be able to train with all the players, including Breel and Ruben."
ANALYSIS
Vargas has been one of the most important figures in coach Murat Yakin's setup since the beginning of his tenure and is expected to be fully fit for Switzerland's World Cup opener against Qatar on June 13. The winger's return to full training this week will give the coach the full complement of attacking options he needs to finalize his preparations for the tournament.

Target for Tottenham
The Spurs are looking to sign Vargas, according to Football Insider.
ANALYSIS
Tottenham wanted to sign Savinho, but Manchester City blocked all the attempts to acquire the Brazilian. Thus, the Spurs are looking at other targets, and the Swiss international is quite high on the team's list. Vargas is a key player for Sevilla, though, so the Spanish club isn't believed to be keen on parting ways with the winger.
