Musa showed why he's a Designated Player for Dallas after a stellar first campaign in MLS. He managed to stay healthy most of the season, starting 27 times in 30 appearances. The forward led the team in goals with 16, assisting three times while averaging 3.4 shots per 90 minutes. The hope is that the pieces around him in Dallas are a little more consistent. If Dallas can do that, Musa could be set for even more production in 2025 with 20-plus goal involvements a good projection.
Replaced at halftime versus Panama

ANALYSIS
After scoring in the World Cup opener versus England, Musa started again Tuesday versus Panama. He was unable to get involved in the first half though, failing to manage a single shot an only attempting four passes. Clearly needing a change, the Croatia manager subbed Musa off at halftime for Ante Budimir, a decision that worked out considering Budimir scored the lone goal of the match. It's unclear now if Musa will start again Saturday versus Ghana, a difficult matchup versus a side that has not conceded through two matches.
