2025 Fantasy Outlook
Farsi didn't score a goal across his first two MLS campaigns but broke out with four during the 2024 season, finishing the campaign with a career-high six goal contributions. He served as the team's first-choice right midfielder for the second straight season and has 10 goal contributions in 50 starts in that role. He's set to play the same role in 2025, however, his ceiling may be limited. Columbus funnels more attacks on the left side of the pitch with Max Arfsten and although Farsi still has plenty of opportunities, that limits his upside. He also took just 13 shots during the 2024 campaign, so his four goals could be an outlier. While it's possible he can replicate his production of the past two seasons, there doesn't seem to be a path for him to improve those numbers significantly.
Two assists Sunday
Farsi assisted twice to go with one shot (one on goal) and two chances created in Sunday's 2-0 win versus Atlanta United.
ANALYSIS
Farsi made his second start of the season and made a massive impact on the match. He assisted both of the goals in the match, strikes by Sekou Bangoura and Diego Rossi. They marked his first two goal contributions of the season as he finally seems to be back to himself after missing the start of the season with a hernia. He will now be away from club football for nearly two months due to the World Cup break.
