Detourbet came through the Troyes academy after joining in 2015 and made his professional debut in January 2025 in a Coupe de France victory over Rennes before making his Ligue 2 debut five days later against Annecy. He went on to deliver a full season for Troyes in 2025-26, making 37 appearances and contributing four goals and seven assists, including a decisive performance in a 3-0 win over Saint-Etienne in a crucial match for the Ligue 2 title race that ultimately helped his club secure promotion to the top flight. His performances throughout the campaign caught the attention of Manchester City, who signed him at the end of the season. The 18-year-old left winger is known for his explosiveness, ability to make the difference in wide areas and quality in one-on-one situations. He arrives at Monaco with 18 France youth caps and five goals across the under-17 through to under-20 levels, and will reunite with several former international teammates including Aladji Bamba, Jules Stawiecki, Pape Cabral and Ilane Toure on the Rock.
