Jovanovic (back) participated in full training on the first day of the 2026/27 preseason Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Jovanovic ended the 2025/26 season on the sidelines due to a back issue that kept him out of the field since December, and he was limited to just six appearances across the Bundesliga and the UEFA Europa League. Jovanovic would be a depth piece in Stuttgart's attacking line if healthy, but he's not expected to see a large role anyway. He's yet to score a goal with the club since joining from Red Star Belgrade last summer.
