2025 Fantasy Outlook
Firpo returns to La Liga after an extremely successful stint with Leeds United, especially last season, where he tallied four goals and 10 assists in the Championship. That sort of production isn't likely to translate directly with a major step up in competition, but Firpo should still offer plenty of upside going forward. Betis allowed a little over one goal per match last season and should be generally competent defensively, adding some nice clean sheet upside for Firpo as well. The only uncertainty is if he can totally displace Ricardo Rodriguez for the starting left-back job, though at the very least he should see a split of the time.
Back in partial training
Firpo (undisclosed) returned to partial team training Tuesday and could be set for a return for Sunday's clash against Real Oviedo, according to Zona Mixta.
ANALYSIS
Firpo missed the last six games across all competition with Betis due to an injury but his progression to partial sessions is an encouraging step forward. The left-back figures to remain a rotational option at best given the form issues that have hampered him throughout the campaign since returning from Leeds United, but his return to the training pitch gives Real Betis another available option heading into the final stretch of the season.
